About Us

Nice to meet you! We are the Posner family – Keren, Dor, and our daughters Gili and Rotem.
For over two years we have been on a journey around the world. We traveled to India, Thailand, Singapore, Laos, Vietnam, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, the United States, the Bahamas, and Mexico, and now – we arrived in Costa Rica with the goal of establishing a warm home for Israeli travelers in Puerto Viejo.

We partnered with the BINA organization to create a space that allows Israelis to feel at home, far from home. We invite you to join our activities, take part in our initiatives, or simply come sit and feel together. We will be here for a short and magical period of only three months (March, April, and May 2026) – so if you are traveling in Central America soon, plan a visit to Puerto Viejo and come stay with us!

A little about the BINA Organization

BINA (The Jewish Movement for Social Change) works to advance Jewish-Israeli identity based on community, culture, and action. BINA houses around the world serve as unique meeting points for travelers, offering an open, pluralistic, and welcoming space to celebrate Shabbat and holidays, learn together, and authentically connect to Israeliness – in an atmosphere that invites everyone in.

An Israeli memorial ceremony to mark the Remembrance Day for fallen soldiers of the Israeli wars and victims of hostilities. Participation is free - by prior registration.

Israeli Independence Day party at BINA House! 🪩 Come celebrate Independence Day Eve with us in a homey atmosphere. An Israeli soundtrack, good food, and an amazing community. Entrance is completely free! Just bring a little something to snack on or drink, and come celebrate together with us. ✨
